USC Comeback Win

USC Silences Critics With Thrilling Comeback Victory Over Washington

USC defeated Washington 25-21 in a thrilling game at the Coliseum, ending a week of pressure for coach Lincoln Riley. The Trojans had been trailing 21-10, with a fourth-string running back named Jayden Maiava running the ball for a touchdown and an interception. Despite a strong defensive performance from Washington, the team struggled to move the ball on USC's defense throughout. Despite this, the Trojos managed to pull away with a score of 25-20. The victory was a significant turnaround for USC after a disappointing few weeks on the defensive end. The team's defensive coordinator, Gary Patterson, called the game from the press box instead of the sideline.
