The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service has recalled 22,880 pounds of baked spaghetti and chicken cobbler products over concerns about potential metal contamination, according to WPXI. The recall was initiated by Ukrop's Homestyle Foods and covers products made between July 1 and July 29.
No injuries have been reported so far. But health officials urge anyone who bought these products to stop eating them immediately, WSBTV reports.

The recalled item is a 62.4-ounce aluminum pan with plastic overwrap labeled "Ukrop's Baked Spaghetti - Bulk," according to WHIO. The affected packages carry BEST BY dates ranging from 07/08/26 through 08/05/26. Shoppers should check their freezers or refrigerators for those dates before consuming the product.
The chicken cobbler products are also part of the same recall action. Both items fall under the USDA's Class I or Class II recall category, meaning there is a real potential for harm if consumed, Action News Jax reported.
Where the Recalled Food Was Sold and Shipped
The products were shipped to stores in North Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia, according to WSOC-TV. They were also sold through Department of Defense commissary stores in those states, meaning military families may have purchased the items.
The food was also available for purchase online, which means it could have reached consumers beyond those three states, Boston 25 News noted. Anyone who ordered Ukrop's products online during this period should check their purchase history carefully.

Do not eat the recalled baked spaghetti or chicken cobbler. The USDA advises consumers to throw the product away or return it to the store where it was purchased, according to WOKV. Keep the packaging so you can confirm the BEST BY date and lot information.
