Konami is marking Castlevania’s 40th anniversary with a free mobile release of the original game for iOS and Android, available to download through October 24; players who claim it during the promotion can keep playing afterward. The anniversary release includes touch controls and offline play, and discounts of up to 80% are available on selected Castlevania collections on PlayStation and Steam. Konami has also announced an orchestral concert planned for Tokyo, Los Angeles and London in spring 2027. The next series entry, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, is scheduled to launch October 15, 2026, on consoles and PC, with a free demo arriving October 1.
