YouTube Shorts Updates Recommendations to Reduce Visibility of Reposted Videos

YouTube announced the change in a TeamYouTube community post, not as a rewrite of its formal policy. The update builds on the platform’s existing spam policy, which also covers strikes, demonetisation and channel terminations.
