The conversational editing assistant for Shorts and the YouTube Create app uses Gemini to trim pauses, reorder clips and synchronize music to the beat, while still allowing creators to make manual edits.
GIF comments are expected to roll out globally in the YouTube mobile app in the fall, while TV users with supported sets can dictate comments through a voice-to-text feature.
Ask YouTube will let viewers ask about products that appear in a video even when the creator does not mention them, and users will be able to continue a shopping conversation from the search page into the video player.
