Brooklyn Man Arrested in Fatal Hit-and-Run Death of Former Child Star Kianna Underwood

Michael Griffiths, a 72-year-old Brooklyn man, has been arrested in the fatal hit-and-run crash that killed former "All That" child star Kianna Underwood. Underwood, 33, was hit by a black SUV while crossing an intersection in Brooklyn on Jan. 16, according to an NYPD incident report. The SUV had the green light and crossed a double yellow line to pass another vehicle when it struck Underwood who was crossing the street against the pedestrian signal. Neither driver of the black and gray sedan remained on the scene, dragging Underwood for over two blocks. Griffiths has been indicted on two felony counts of leaving the scene of an incident without reporting, including a count alleging he left the scene.
