Star Bulk Lists Athens, Raises €107.8 Million

The Euronext Athens admission covered 111,671,386 existing shares in addition to the 4.4 million newly issued shares, bringing all of the company’s common shares into trading on the exchange.
Of the 4.4 million new shares, 4.3 million were allocated through Greece’s public offering and 100,000 through a parallel offering to a limited group of investors; the €24.50 offering price applied equally to qualified and retail investors.
On a fully delivered basis, Star Bulk’s fleet has aggregate carrying capacity of 13,750,123 deadweight tons and an average age of approximately 12.5 years.
The company’s vessels transport major and minor dry-bulk commodities including iron ore, minerals, grain, bauxite, fertilizers and steel products on routes worldwide.
The company said the offering generated approximately €100.4 million in net proceeds after public-offering and listing expenses, compared with the reported €107.8 million in gross proceeds.
