Samsung brings advanced Galaxy AI features to the Galaxy S24 in latest beta update.

Now Nudge can analyze context from emails, suggestions and Google Maps to surface relevant information on the phone’s main screen.
Users can schedule Now Custom Cards—built from sources such as Samsung Health, Samsung Weather and selected YouTube content—to appear at specific times on particular days or every day.
My FanCam is designed for videos containing multiple people: users can select one person, and the feature automatically follows and crops the footage around them—for example, a child, family member or performer.
The second beta is identified as build ZZI4 and includes bug fixes and stability improvements in addition to the new Galaxy AI features.
The features had also been introduced on Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, not only on the Galaxy S26 series.
Samsung's One UI 9.0 Beta 2 is bringing four AI features to the Galaxy S24 series that were previously exclusive to newer devices. The update, build ZZI4, adds Call Brief, My FanCam, Now Custom Cards, and Now Nudge Samsung Newsroom. Galaxy S24 owners can join the beta program to test these features now, with a stable release expected within weeks Android Authority.
The move extends the product life of 2024 phones and reduces pressure on users to upgrade. These AI tools were first introduced on the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Flip 8, and Galaxy S26 series. Beta testers should back up their data before installing, as early software can contain bugs SamMobile.
Call Brief surfaces relevant caller information during calls, showing contact details and local times Samsung Newsroom. My FanCam automatically tracks and crops a selected person in multi-person videos—perfect for concerts or family gatherings Android Authority. Now Custom Cards combines data from Samsung Health, Weather, and YouTube into scheduled summaries you can set for specific times or days.
Now Nudge analyzes context from emails, calendar entries, and Google Maps to suggest relevant information on your home screen SamMobile. Together, these features give Galaxy S24 users access to tools that matched flagship phones like the Z Fold 8.
Typically, new AI features stay exclusive to premium models to push hardware upgrades. But Samsung is changing course. By backporting top features to 2024 devices, the company keeps Galaxy S24 owners happy without forcing expensive upgrades Android Authority. The move also locks users into Samsung's ecosystem longer.
This strategy reduces short-term pressure on Galaxy S26 sales but builds long-term customer loyalty. Galaxy S24 users get nearly the same AI power as newer models, eliminating a key reason to buy new SamMobile.
The beta update, ZZI4, includes bug fixes and stability improvements alongside the new features Samsung Newsroom. Early builds can have issues—minor problems reported so far include camera color optimization glitches and Bixby Vision translation errors SamMobile. Users enrolling in Samsung's beta program should back up all data before installing.
The stable version is expected by late September or October 2026, after Samsung finishes testing and fixes remaining bugs Android Authority. Early testers report smoother animations and better overall performance in the build ZZI4 release.
