Four bond exchange-traded funds hit new 52-week lows during Monday trading sessions.

Four bond exchange-traded funds—the Vanguard Ultra-Short Bond ETF, Invesco Taxable Municipal Bond ETF, SPDR Nuveen ICE Short Term Municipal Bond ETF and iShares Short Maturity Municipal Bond Active ETF—each fell to a new 52-week low during Monday trading. Their reported intraday lows ranged from $25.34 for Invesco’s fund to $49.58 for iShares’ fund. The reports provide trading and investor-holdings data but do not identify a common cause for the declines.
Vanguard says VUSB actively invests in investment-grade fixed-income securities and aims to keep its dollar-weighted average maturity between zero and two years.
Invesco’s fund description says the ETF normally invests at least 80% of its assets in securities in the BofA Merrill Lynch Build America Bond Index, which tracks U.S.-dollar-denominated Build America Bonds.
Invesco’s ETF last traded at $25.405, below its 50-day moving average of $26.24 and its 200-day average of $26.63.
Bank of America increased its SPDR Nuveen ICE Short Term Municipal Bond ETF position by 795,560 shares, or 3.9%, in the first quarter, bringing its holding to 21,326,865 shares.
