NVIDIA Bundles Control Resonant With RTX 50 Series And Unveils DLSS 4.5

The NVIDIA App update adds Borderless Windowed support for Optimal Playable Settings, enabling easier window management while using DLSS 4.5 features.
DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction details: the model has 35% more compute and 20% more parameters than the previous version, uses a larger training dataset, and offers finer temporal accumulation controls to improve lighting accuracy and stability; it can be enabled via Settings > About in Early Access and selecting DLSS Override – Model Presets (Recommended or Preset F).
Access to DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction requires updating the NVIDIA App; the new app update is necessary to gain access to the Ray Reconstruction technology.
Remedy’s RTX Mega Geometry support for CONTROL Resonant is being coordinated with NVIDIA to bring Mega Geometry features to the title on RTX 50 Series hardware.
RTX 5060 family devices are excluded from the bundle; specifically, RTX 5060 Ti, 5060, and 5050 products do not qualify for the CONTROL Resonant offer.
NVIDIA is bundling a free copy of CONTROL Resonant with select RTX 50 Series graphics cards, starting August 25 through September 29. TechPowerUp reported the promotion covers RTX 5090, 5080, 5070 Ti, and 5070 models, but excludes the RTX 5060 family. The game launches September 24 and showcases DLSS 4.5 enhancements, including a new Ray Reconstruction technology designed to improve ray-traced visuals on RTX 50 Series hardware.
NVIDIA also released NVIDIA App updates that bring DLSS 4.5 overrides, per-app Resizable Bar controls, and G-SYNC Pulsar settings. Neowin noted that DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction is now available for all RTX GPUs, featuring a second-generation transformer model with 35% more compute and 20% more parameters than its predecessor. Access requires the latest NVIDIA App update.
The free game offer applies to RTX 5090, 5080, 5070 Ti, and 5070 desktops and laptops purchased during the promotion window. WCCFtech explained that redemption deadlines vary by retailer but end by October 27. RTX 5060 series GPUs — including the 5060 Ti, 5060, and 5050 — are excluded from the bundle, limiting the offer to higher-performance cards that best showcase CONTROL Resonant's advanced graphics features.
DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction is now live across all RTX GPUs through the NVIDIA App. The new model uses 35% more compute and 20% more parameters than the previous version, trained on a larger dataset for better accuracy. Tech Sportskeeda noted the technology improves lighting accuracy and stability through finer temporal accumulation controls, enhancing ray-traced and path-traced visuals in supported games.
Users can enable Ray Reconstruction by updating the NVIDIA App, then navigating to Settings > About in Early Access. The interface offers DLSS Override options including Recommended and Preset F configurations. The NVIDIA App update is required to access this technology, making it essential for gamers wanting the latest visual improvements.
Beyond DLSS 4.5 support, NVIDIA released app updates adding Borderless Windowed mode for Optimal Playable Settings. This feature enables easier window management while keeping DLSS 4.5 active. WCCFtech detailed that the update also brings per-app Resizable Bar controls and G-SYNC Pulsar settings, letting gamers fine-tune performance and display behavior on a per-game basis rather than globally.
These tools streamline performance optimization without requiring manual configuration for each title. Resizable Bar support can now be toggled individually for specific applications, giving users precise control over memory access patterns and potential performance gains depending on the game and GPU combination.
CONTROL Resonant launches September 24 with full DLSS 4.5 integration designed specifically for RTX 50 Series hardware. TweakTown reported that Remedy Entertainment's sequel features native DLSS 4.5 and DLSS.5 Ray Reconstruction support to enhance both ray-tracing and path-tracing modes. The game is being coordinated with NVIDIA to bring Mega Geometry support to the title, a technology that boosts geometric detail and rendering complexity on RTX 50 Series cards.
