SpaceX orbital launch

SpaceX is preparing to launch Starship, the world's largest rocket, for the 14th time since April 2023. The massive vehicle will lift off from the company's headquarters in South Texas, continuing Elon Musk's push to make the fully reusable rocket a workhorse for deep space missions and eventual Mars colonization.
Starship has come a long way since its first orbital attempt in April 2023. Over 13 flights, SpaceX has tested the rocket's engines, landing systems, and heat shields. Each launch pushes closer to the goal of a fully reusable super-heavy lift vehicle that can carry more cargo than any rocket in history.
Starship is the largest rocket ever built. Its size and payload capacity make it key to NASA's lunar missions and SpaceX's long-term goal of settling Mars. Each test flight generates data that helps engineers improve reliability and cut costs for future space travel.
Flight 14 represents another step in proving Starship can be launched repeatedly and safely. Success here brings the company closer to routine orbital missions. Future launches aim to demonstrate in-space refueling and other skills needed for deep space exploration.
