Amit Shah is expected to inaugurate four major road projects in Delhi on September 29, including the completed Barapullah Phase 3 elevated corridor and Mukarba Chowk underpass, while laying foundation stones for the Modi Mill–Kalkaji and Savitri Cinema flyovers. The Barapullah corridor will link Mayur Vihar Phase 1 with South Delhi through a signal-free route of about nine kilometers, but its completion came years behind schedule and at a revised cost of roughly ₹1,635 crore. The planned flyovers are intended to improve traffic flow toward IIT Gate, Nehru Place and Okhla.
