Nebraska defensive linemen contribute to offensive success in victory over Ohio.

Defenders Anthony Jones and Jahsear Whittington were instrumental in the Nebraska offense's victory over Ohio in a recent game at Memorial Stadium. The defensive linemen helped the team secure a touchdown on both occasions, with Whittingon playing as a fullback and Jones finding a role at the edge. Whittingtons was approached by offensive staffers during camp about the role, but coach Matt Rhule backed the idea. The team has previously used defensive linemen as blockers in previous games, including Ty Robinson two years ago. Offensive lineman Gunnar Gottula said he has no technique critique for his defensive counterparts but praises them for their work.
