Former Nebraska football star Lavonte David reflects on his legendary collegiate career.

Former Nebraska football star Lavonte David, known for setting the program's single-season record for tackles with 152 and earning All-America honors in his first year with the Huskers, was voted first-team All-Big 12 and the league's newcomer of the year. His senior year, he recorded a team-high 133 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, 5½ sacks, two interceptions and two forced fumbles. David was integral to the team's success after losing Husker legend Ndamukong Suh and was part of the team that transitioned NU into the Big Ten. His 285 tackles remain fourth in Nebraska history, and he only needed two seasons to complete his career.
