Chipotle is bringing back its discontinued margarita for a limited five-city tour this October.

Chipotle is bringing back its discontinued margarita for a limited time through its five-city “Summon the Spirits” tour, offering the five-ingredient drink for $6 to guests 21 and older. Pop-ups will take place on weekends in October in Denver, New York, Dallas, Los Angeles and New Orleans, with Halloween décor, dedicated margarita bars and interactive activities. Dallas will also offer a frozen version. The tour leads into Chipotle’s annual Halloween Boorito promotion, with more details on that offer expected later.
The pop-ups are scheduled from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on both days at each stop: Denver (Oct. 2–3, 2760 S. Colorado Blvd.); Brooklyn (Oct. 9–10, 185 Montague St.); Dallas (Oct. 16–17, 2401 Victory Park Lane); Los Angeles (Oct. 23–24, 7660 W. Sunset Blvd.); and New Orleans (Oct. 30–31, 2801 Magazine St.).
Chipotle’s senior vice president of brand marketing, Stephanie Perdue, said fans continued discussing the drink after it left the menu and that Halloween was “the perfect time to revive a Chipotle classic.”
The tour opens in Denver, which Chipotle describes as its founding city and where the brand’s story began.
Fans kept the discontinued margarita in public conversation through nostalgic TikToks, throwback photos and requests for its return, including comments such as “those margs were fireee” and “they need to run that back.”
