Tripura Awaits Village Committee Election Results Following High Voter Turnout

The Village Committee elections were held across 587 committees, covering 4,597 seats. Of the 6,58,247 assigned voters, 5,33,242 cast ballots, and women’s turnout was slightly higher than men’s.
The polls, held after nearly a decade, are the first major grassroots electoral test for the ruling alliance ahead of the 2028 Assembly elections.
