The 2026 Bank of Utah Championship opened with spectacular scoring at Black Desert Resort in Ivins, Utah. Lineups reported that Zach Bauchou led after Round 1 at 9-under par, with six players just one shot behind. The scoring was so low that Central Oregon Daily noted 99 of the 120 golfers in the field shot even par or better.
Steven Fisk made a late push, firing an 8-under 63 to join the lead pack. The crowded leaderboard showed 24 players within three strokes of the top. Central Oregon Daily identified the championship as one of 45 PGA Tour events in 2026 and the second of eight FedEx Cup qualifying tournaments.
