Star High School Football Player Chris Wilson Jr. Killed in Indiana

Christopher Wilson Jr., a 17-year-old high school football player, was shot and killed in Muncie, Indiana. Wilson, a senior at Yorktown High School in Delaware County, was found with multiple gunshot wounds in a vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Police are investigating the shooting. Wilson had committed to play football at West Virginia University and was ranked as a three-star recruit by 247Sports. He had offers from several universities including Indiana, Auburn, Ole Miss and Texas A&M. Wilson and Yorktown won the Indiana High School Athletic Association Class 4A sectional championship in 2025.
