Russia Imposes Strict Cash Export Limits on Travelers and Businesses Heading to Azerbaijan

A decree signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin bars individuals from carrying more than 1 million rubles in cash out of Russia to Eurasian Economic Union member states, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Legal entities and individual entrepreneurs are prohibited from exporting cash rubles to the named destinations regardless of the amount.
