South Dakota defeated Northern Colorado 38-23, marking the Coyotes' first road opener in a full season since 2017. Charles Pierre Jr. scored twice and Tennel Bryant scored a touchdown on his only carry. The win marks South Dakota's fifth consecutive win against Northern Colorado.
