Tilda Swinton to Release Unconventional Debut Memoir Told Through Personal Objects in 2028

Tilda Swinton is set to publish her debut memoir, Material Evidence, in the fall of 2028. The book, published through Farrar, Straus and Giroux, will be called "a book about curiosity" and will not follow a chronological format. Instead, it will tell Swinton's story through objects such as a christening dress, a letter, a wooden leg, a sweatshirt, a length of embroidery silk, and a photograph. The publisher, Farrarrar Straus & Giroux president Mitzi Angel, praised Swinton for her unique way of seeing things. This is her second published book, Tilda Swint: Ongoing, which was released in 2025.
