Defense Secretary Hegseth Unveils New Military Command to Oversee Drone Technology

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has announced the creation of a four-star command for autonomous warfare, or "AutoWarCom," which will oversee the Pentagon's purchase, test, and deployment of drones and other cutting-edge technologies. The command will be directed to buy new drones and robotics in the fastest peacetime shift in modern military history. It is set to be functional in October of 2027.
