Mahindra Reports 42 Percent Surge in August Sales Driven by Strong Utility Vehicle Demand

Mahindra's August sales growth was powered by utility vehicles, which delivered 61,167 total units including exports—a 50% domestic jump, TipRanks stated. International sales were equally impressive. Exports climbed 71% to 6,054 units in August alone, with year-to-date export volumes up 63% to 26,012 units, ScanX Trade reported. This rapid international expansion is offsetting domestic market challenges and bolstering the company's overall top-line growth.

SML Mahindra, Mahindra's three-wheeler division, reported August sales of 1,175 units, up 40% year-on-year, TipRanks said. Cargo vehicles jumped 53% to 492 units, while passenger three-wheelers rose 31% to 683 units. The dual-segment strength shows broad-based momentum in India's last-mile mobility market.
