Lottery for 2027 Masters and ANWA Tournament Tickets Opens, Deadline June 20

Golf fans have a narrow window to chase one of sport's hardest tickets. The lottery for the 2027 Masters Tournament and the Augusta National Women's Amateur (ANWA) opened on June 1, 2026, at 8:00 AM ET, according to WHIO. The deadline to enter is June 20, 2026 — and no late applications will be accepted.
Applicants can request up to four tickets for any combination of Masters practice rounds or daily tournament rounds. Lottery winners will be notified in late July, with payments due in August. Tickets are then mailed in March 2027, ahead of the tournament in April, Action News Jax reported.
To enter, applicants must have an account registered on either Masters.com or ANWAGolf.com, KIRO 7 reported. From there, fans can apply for practice round passes, individual tournament round badges, or both. Each applicant can request a maximum of four passes per round or event.
Face-value prices vary by day. Masters practice rounds on Monday and Tuesday cost $125 each. The Wednesday round, which includes the Par 3 Contest, runs $150. Tournament round badges — Thursday through Sunday — are priced at $160 each. For the ANWA, the final round at Augusta National is $150 per ticket, while the earlier rounds at Champions Retreat are free, according to WSOC-TV.
Augusta National runs its lottery in two stages. First, the club selects winners from the pool of applicants. Then it notifies them by email in late July 2026. Winners must pay in full during August 2026 to lock in their spots, WPXI reported. Anyone who misses the payment window loses their ticket.
Physical tickets are mailed in March 2027 to the winner's permanent home address on file. The 2027 Masters Tournament rounds run April 8–11, making it the 91st edition of the event. The ANWA takes place April 1–4, 2027, at Augusta National.
Getting a ticket through the lottery is extremely unlikely. Estimated odds for tournament rounds are less than 1%, with over 2 million applications submitted each year, Boston 25 News reported. The club closed its permanent patron list back in 1972, making the annual lottery the only official route for the general public.
On the secondary market, Sunday badges for 2027 are expected to fetch between $8,700 and $10,000 or more. Augusta National actively works to stop resale, using RFID tracking and on-site checks to verify ticket ownership. The club keeps face-value prices intentionally low — well under $200 — to protect what it calls the "patron experience," Power Orlando reported.
The Augusta National Women's Amateur launched in 2019 and has grown into a major draw. The 2027 edition will be its eighth year. Fans apply for ANWA tickets through a separate but parallel lottery process on ANWAGolf.com, with the same June 20 deadline, WSOC-TV reported.
The $150 ANWA final-round ticket price is now nearly equal to a Masters tournament badge. That pricing reflects how much the women's event has grown in stature. The same July notification and August payment timeline applies to both lotteries, Action News Jax reported.
