Australian Firms File Updated Corporate Governance Statements Aligned With ASX Requirements

Viridis Mining and Minerals, WT Financial Group, Element 25 and Tivan have each reported updated corporate governance disclosures aligned with ASX requirements. Their filings describe arrangements including board charters, defined board and management responsibilities, checks on directors and senior executives, and clear accountability for company secretaries. WT Financial said it followed key recommendations in full, while the companies made governance information available to help investors assess oversight, transparency and compliance.
Viridis says its pre-appointment checks cover directors’ and senior executives’ character, experience, education, criminal records and bankruptcy history. It also commits to giving shareholders material information to help them decide on director elections or re-elections.
