Sentinel Advisory Group Expands ETF Portfolio with Major New Stakes, Joins Broad Institutional Interest

In IVW, Sentinel wasn’t alone: Financial Network Wealth Advisors LLC boosted its IVW stake by 174.4% in the 4th quarter to 225 shares (~$28,000). Other investors also added IVW positions in the 4th quarter (Strive Financial Group LLC and Decker Retirement Planning Inc., among others).
For IWP, Krilogy Financial LLC significantly increased its stake, growing to 282,178 shares worth about $39.4 million after adding 15,331 shares in the last quarter; AE Wealth Management LLC and Concurrent Investment Advisors LLC also boosted positions to 95,214 shares (~$13.0 million) and 16,403 shares (~$2.25 million), respectively.

Overall, about 75.33% of IWF is owned by institutional investors and hedge funds.
SPYG saw spread-out institutional activity as well: Hantz Financial Services Inc. boosted its SPYG stake by 583.8% in the 4th quarter to 253 shares; 71 West Capital Partners and OpenArc Corporate Advisory LLC also opened new positions in the 4th quarter, highlighting broad interest in the fund alongside Sentinel's sizable new stake.

Sentinel's biggest new stake was in SPYG at $14.61 million (149,210 shares). Second was iShares Russell Mid-Cap Growth ETF (IWP) at $8.63 million (67,385 shares), ranking as the firm's 7th largest holding. Third was iShares Russell Mid-Cap Value ETF (IWS) at $9.52 million (65,328 shares), its 5th largest holding, according to Watchlist News.
The two smaller positions rounded out the haul. Sentinel bought 5,262 shares of iShares Russell 1000 Growth ETF (IWF) for about $2.24 million — its 19th largest holding. It also picked up 6,322 shares of iShares S&P 500 Growth ETF (IVW) worth roughly $715,000. Together, the five positions show a clear tilt toward growth-oriented funds.
