Russian President Vladimir Putin Praises Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for Ukraine Peace Ideas

Putin made the remarks at the annual Valdai International Discussion Club meeting, where he said Modi raises the Ukraine conflict at every meeting.
Ahead of the BRICS summit in New Delhi, Putin and Modi held talks in which Putin briefed the Indian prime minister on the Ukraine war and ongoing peace initiatives.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov had said Russia would welcome Indian peace efforts, adding that Moscow’s approach aligned closely with New Delhi’s call for a resolution through dialogue and diplomacy.
Putin also praised India’s cultural diversity and unity, saying the country showed how people from different linguistic and cultural backgrounds could live together.
