State Department Issues Serious Travel Warning
The U.S. State Department's Level 3 advisory warns Americans to reconsider travel to Saudi Arabia. AOL reported the warning cites armed conflict, terrorism, Iranian drone and missile attacks, and possible exit bans. Foreigners face risk of being blocked from leaving during civil or criminal disputes—including labor and financial disagreements—and could face legal trouble for social media posts made even outside the country.
Recent Regional Attacks Compound Security Fears
Overnight air alerts and a fuel-depot fire near Riyadh have added urgency to concerns.
