Bipartisan Congressional Staff Cancel Controversial European Trip Following Media Inquiry

Congressional Staff from both parties planned a trip to Italy and France on taxpayer's dime before the midterms. The trip, led by House Speaker Mike Johnson's top aide, Curt Beaulieu, included a visit to the Ferrari factory near Bologna, Italy, and high-end brand stores in Milan or Florence before heading to France's Champagne region. The goal of the 7-day trip was to interact with European counterparts to discuss the impact of President Trump's tariffs. However, the trip was cancelled after NBC contacted Johnson's office for comment.
