Meta Launches One Subscription With AI Tools

Instagram Plus subscribers can keep Stories visible for 48 hours, preview Stories without appearing in viewers’ lists, and send animated “super reactions” and “super hearts.” WhatsApp Plus includes exclusive stickers and ringtones and allows users to pin up to 20 chats.
Meta says more than half of subscribers in early testing used both AI and expression features in bundled plans, with Instagram’s Restyle tool and voice effects among the leading reasons users subscribed.
Some paid creator tiers will allow native links in organic posts, Reels and profile pages, while also letting creators compare their content performance with that of similar users.
In Australia, Meta says business subscribers will be able to connect with customer-support staff, receive case prioritisation and arrange live phone conversations—benefits offered as part of the paid service.
Meta said WhatsApp Plus will test cloud storage for chat and media backups and introduce Focus Schedules that can mute or hide chats at designated times.
Meta launched Meta One, a tiered subscription service bundling Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Meta AI with more than 50 premium features. TechCrunch reports individual plans start around $3 per month, while bundles begin at roughly $8, with creator and business tiers ranging from $15 to $499 depending on market and account type. The service keeps core features free while adding AI tools, enhanced messaging, and analytics that Meta says creators and businesses typically buy from multiple providers.
Meta designed Meta One to consolidate tools and offset its massive AI investment costs. Technobezz noted early testing attracted millions of subscriptions and trials, with more than half of bundled-plan subscribers using both AI and expression features. The company plans to expand Meta One to include Edits and AI glasses products.
Instagram Plus subscribers get expanded Story controls and new ways to interact. TecheBlog reports users can keep Stories visible for 48 hours instead of the default 24. Subscribers can also preview Stories without appearing in viewers' lists and send animated "super reactions" and "super hearts" for more expressive messaging.
Restyle, Instagram's AI image generation tool, and voice effects emerged as top reasons users subscribed during early testing. Instagram's Restyle tool lets subscribers remake photos with AI, while voice effects add personality to messages and content.
WhatsApp Plus subscribers unlock exclusive stickers and ringtones while gaining better chat management. TecheBlog reports users can pin up to 20 chats for quick access. The service is also testing cloud storage for chat and media backups, giving subscribers a secure backup option.
A new Focus Schedules feature will let users mute or hide chats during set times. This helps WhatsApp Plus subscribers manage notifications and reduce distractions without deleting important conversations.
Paid creator tiers unlock monetization and analytics tools that previously required third-party apps. Digital Trends reports some plans allow native links in organic posts, Reels, and profile pages—removing friction for selling products or services. Creators can also compare their content performance directly with similar accounts.
These analytics features let creators benchmark their growth and understand audience behavior without leaving Meta's ecosystem. The native links feature reduces reliance on external link-in-bio tools, keeping traffic within Meta's platforms.
Meta One's business subscriptions offer dedicated customer support. SQ Magazine reports Australian business subscribers can connect with support staff, receive case prioritization, and schedule live phone conversations. These benefits address a pain point for small businesses managing customer inquiries across platforms.
Meta Business Agent, included in business plans, automates customer service by handling inquiries directly. This AI tool reduces manual work while keeping businesses connected to their customers through Meta's messaging apps.
