A medical examination confirmed rape and documented eight stab wounds on the victim's body. Hindustan Times reported that the face was not recognizable due to decomposition, and one hand was missing. Police said stray animals had damaged parts of the remains during the days it lay exposed in the field.
Suspects Face Adult and Juvenile Proceedings
The adult suspect, Shivam, will face trial under adult criminal procedures for murder and rape.
