Vice President JD Vance urges uneasy voters to back GOP in midterms

Vice President JD Vance addressed concerns about some of the Trump administration's policies at the Republican midterm convention in Dallas on Sept. 10. He urged voters to recognize the contrast with the radicals and recognize the achievements of the last 18 months. The speech is seen as one of Vance's biggest opportunities to rally the party faithful and consolidate support. He also mentioned a public spat with Michigan's Democratic Senate candidate, Abdul El-Sayed, who is currently in a right race against Republican Mike Rogers. Vance's wife, Usha Vance, was not present for the convention due to her busy busy work with her four children.
