This week’s impact-investing deals included a $9.5 million commitment to an Indian plastics-recycling company and a $5 million investment in an off-grid solar provider working in Zambia. Other financing targeted small businesses and producers in emerging markets, including a $1 million investment supporting Amazon-region producers and a $255 million fund for fintech lenders.
