Heidi Peters has been selected as chair of the Canadian Paralympic Athletes' Council (CPAC), with Christina Picton named vice-chair, according to Calgary Herald. Both athletes will also join the Canadian Paralympic Committee's Board of Directors.
Peters, who competes in sitting volleyball, had already been serving as vice-chair since March 2025 and stepped up as acting chair in April 2026. Picton is a two-sport Paralympian in Para nordic skiing and Para ice hockey, Edmonton Sun reported.
