Xcanbot Mate X wins prestigious IFA Innovation Award 2026 for accessibility and tech.

Xcanbot Mate X has won the IFA Innovation Award 2026 for Tech for Good & Accessibility and Honoree in IFA NEXT & Emerging Tech. The award recognises technology that widens who can use the Mate X, a seated mobility robot for everyday life. The Mate X uses a fused sensor array of LiDAR, time-of-flight and camera vision to drive itself to a destination without the rider touching the controls. The second recognition places the MateX on the show's list of products it considers to be early signals of where consumer technology is heading. The company's design brief is to treat personal mobility as consumer technology, with industrial design, interface and retail experience.
