Forest Lake relies on stellar defense to secure a hard-fought 15-6 victory over Woodbury.

High school football team Forest Lake won 15-6 over Woodbury in a key Metro East sub-district clash at TCO Stadium in Eagan. Senior Brooks Rohne and the Rangers' defense were instrumental in the victory, with Rohne having one of the Rangers’ three interceptions and his team stopping Woodbury on downs four times. The victory set up a game-winning 20-yard touchdown run by senior running back Mack Jurkovich. The Rangers, who were averaging over 36.6 points per game, are now heading into their next game against unbeaten White Bear Lake (4-0).
