Detroit General Manager Identifies Four Key Requirements For Super Bowl Run

Detroit Lions' general manager, Brad Holmes, has identified four key things that must happen for the team to reach the Super Bowl in 2026, including Mays' return from injured. Mays, a major addition to the team at center, could stabilize the line and provide Detroit with a balanced offensive attack. The Lions also need McNeill to return to his Pro Bowl-caliber form after tearing his ACL in 2025, and Branch, a key member of the Lions' secondary, needs to be healthy and perform well. LaPorta, another Pro Bowl player, needs a return to form after missing the final eight games of 2025 due to a herniated disk and a hip injury.
