Kylie Jenner Debuts Her First Fragrance Trio, 'Mood Stones,' Now Available at Ulta

Kylie Jenner has launched her first-ever perfume trio, the Mood Stones collection, now available at Ulta Beauty stores and online. The three scents — Cashmere Muse, Blush Wood, and Velvet Brew — officially hit Ulta shelves on Sunday, August 2, following an exclusive debut on her website three days earlier. USA Today reports each 1.6 oz. bottle is priced at $68.
Jenner said she built the collection around the idea of complexity. "I really wanted to create these as an embodiment of my versatility — there's beauty in the multifaceted, and I wanted to embrace the notion that you can be more than one thing," she said in an official press release. It marks a clear step beyond her previous Cosmic fragrance franchise, which launched in 2024 and became the fastest-selling perfume of that year in the UK.
Each bottle in the Mood Stones trio targets a different feeling. Cashmere Muse is a fresh floral musk with notes of bergamot, frangipani, and salted musk. Blush Wood is a warm, romantic woody floral built around rose, cedarwood, and vanilla. Velvet Brew goes bolder — a spicy, ambery scent layered with hazelnut, orange blossom, coffee flower, and patchouli, according to Courier Journal.
The bottles themselves are designed to stand out on a shelf. Cashmere Muse comes in a muted purple stone shape with a matte cap. Blush Wood uses a frosted, blush-tinted bottle with a glossy cap. Velvet Brew is housed in an all-glossy brown bottle. The stone-inspired shapes tie directly into the collection's name and visual identity.
The beauty industry has shifted sharply away from the idea of one signature scent for life. Social media communities — especially "PerfumeTok" on TikTok — have pushed fans toward rotating multiple fragrances to match their mood. Kylie Cosmetics is leaning directly into this trend by releasing three scents at once instead of one, according to Indy Star.
From a business angle, the move is calculated. Buying all three bottles individually costs $204 total. Coty Inc., which owns 51% of Kylie Cosmetics after paying $600 million for its stake in 2019, manages the manufacturing and distribution. Prestige fragrance carries strong profit margins — and pushing consumers toward a full trio multiplies the brand's revenue per customer.
Kylie Cosmetics entered the fragrance category in March 2024 with Cosmic Kylie Jenner Eau de Parfum. It became the number-one fastest-selling perfume launch of 2024 at UK retailer Boots. The brand followed with Cosmic 2.0 in March 2025 and Cosmic Intense in January 2026, according to Clarion Ledger.
That rapid pace — four fragrance launches in roughly two years — shows how aggressively Kylie Cosmetics is pushing into the category. Some analysts have warned the fast-release strategy risks "fad fatigue." But the success of the original Cosmic suggests Jenner's fan base is willing to keep buying.
Ulta Beauty is the exclusive brick-and-mortar retailer for the Mood Stones launch. That makes Ulta a key battleground against rival Sephora in the race to lock down celebrity fragrance exclusives. The Mood Stones collection is available both in Ulta stores nationwide and at kyliecosmetics.com, according to AZ Central.
