Andhra Pradesh Launches ₹11,085 Crore Rural Development Initiative in Nellore

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan launched Palle Panduga 3.0 in Nellore district, announcing ₹11,085 crore in rural development works. The programme includes 6,000 km of cement-concrete roads, 9,500 km of bitumen roads, 22,000 cattle shelters, drainage improvements, horticulture planting across 50,000 acres, and village facilities. Funding is expected from central and state contributions and other public financing sources. The government says the initiative will improve basic services and connectivity, help farmers transport produce, complete pending local works and expand drinking-water connections. Pawan Kalyan said rural development projects worth ₹1.30 lakh crore are underway across the state.

The launch venue, Ramapuram, was described as an arid village in the drought-prone Udayagiri constituency, selected to show its condition before the programme’s rural-development works.
