U.S. Considers Sending Third Aircraft Carrier and Additional Troops to Persian Gulf

The US may add an additional aircraft carrier and 10,000 sailors and Marines to the Persian Gulf, giving US commanders more options if President Donald Trump chooses to escalate attacks on Iran. The move could give the US more control over Iran. An official from the US has confirmed that the Pentagon may also deploy an additional 10,500 troops and sailors to the region.
