Aurbis Resources schedules November drilling for its Nevada gold project following extensive exploration.

Aurbis Resources says its wholly owned Ecru Gold Project in Nevada is drill-ready after six phases of exploration over six months. Geological mapping, magnetic and gravity surveys, soil geochemistry, and about 150 rock samples identified 14 hornfels alteration targets associated with Robertson-style gold mineralization, while assay results closely matched the targets and related indicator-element geochemistry. The company has begun drill design, contractor negotiations, and regulatory approvals for a planned 3,000-meter drilling campaign in November 2026. Ecru is located less than two kilometers from Nevada Gold Mines’ Robertson deposit, although drilling will be the first direct test of the project’s targets.
Aurbis says Ecru may have been overlooked by earlier prospectors because its lower elevation and limited surface outcrop made the project less apparent despite its proximity to the Robertson deposit.
The indicator-element geochemistry was also found to correlate with several large structural conduits emanating from the Ecru intrusion, adding a structural dimension to the drill-target model.
The rock samples came from two specifically identified mapping and sampling programs: Phase 1, SCE-17, in June 2026, and Phase 2, CSE-22, in July 2026, both focused on outcrops in the project’s western high-lying area.
Aurbis President or company representatives described drilling as the “next logical step” after a methodical, fact-based exploration process produced a suite of Robertson-style targets.
