Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel launched 12 civic projects in Ahmedabad valued at about Rs 583.85 crore: six completed works worth Rs 279.80 crore were inaugurated, and six more, estimated at Rs 304.05 crore, received foundation stones. The projects cover transport, housing, drainage, emergency response, electric-bus infrastructure and heritage development, including a Vadaj flyover, a railway overbridge, affordable housing, fire-response vehicles and boats, and slum rehabilitation. The launch was part of the Seva, Sankalp and Samarpan Abhiyan marking 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public service, and the event also included housing benefits and appointment letters for new municipal employees. Patel also joined a cleanliness drive at Ghuma Lake and met sanitation workers and school students.
