Porsche Launches All-Electric Cayenne in India with Prices Starting at Rs 1.77 Crore

Porsche has launched the all-electric Cayenne in India in standard and Turbo versions, expanding its local electric lineup while continuing to offer petrol Cayennes. Prices start at ₹1.77 crore for the standard model and ₹2.28 crore for the Turbo, with deliveries beginning alongside the launch. Both versions use a 113-kWh battery, dual motors and an 800-volt architecture, and support DC fast charging at up to 390 kW; Porsche says charging from 10% to 80% takes about 16 minutes. The standard model produces up to 442 hp with launch control and has a claimed range of up to 642 km, while the Turbo reaches 1,156 hp with launch control, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and is rated for up to 623 km of range. The SUV also introduces a new digital cabin and features including adaptive air suspension, with some equipment varying by version or offered as an option.
The Cayenne Electric is Porsche’s third all-electric model on sale in India, following the Taycan and Macan Electric.
The SUV is built on the Volkswagen Group’s 800V Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture, and both variants send power to all four wheels through dual motors.
The Cayenne Electric has a 90-litre front luggage compartment, and at 4,985mm long it is 55mm longer than its petrol-powered sibling.
An optional 11kW wireless charging system is available, making the Cayenne Electric the first Porsche model in India to offer the feature; its onboard AC charging supports up to 22kW.
The Turbo Electric reaches 200km/h from a standstill in 7.4 seconds and has a top speed of 260km/h; its equipment highlights include movable cooling flaps and an active spoiler.
