Defense Secretary Hegseth Names Tech Leaders to Lead Future Warfare Review

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has appointed three individuals, including xAI CEO, Anduril co-founder Palmer Luckey, and former Speaker (R-Ga.) Gingrich, to lead a new Pentagon effort to study the future of warfare. The project, "Project Meridian," aims to harness America’s innovators, senior leaders and technologists to anticipate decades into the future and develop the creative solution for tomorrow’�s conflicts. Hegsetsh stressed that the project is not intended to develop new strategies or policies but will focus on discovering, developing, and fielding weapons and systems that our children and grandchildren will need in their lifetimes. The first meeting on Project Meridian will occur shortly after the announcement.
