Former Prosecutor Claims New York Attorney General Letitia James Is Threatening Him Over Evidence

Daniel Wiesenfeld, a former prosecutor in the New York attorney general's office, claims that Letitia James is threatening him as he refuses to delete evidence of anti-Trump political corruption. Wiesefeld, who worked in James' Investor Protection Bureau before he was fired last month, told his former boss he would not hand over "confidential and privileged" materials. The email also included a photo of a detective's business card from James' Executive Protection Detail that had been jammed into Wiesesenfeld's front door. Wysenfeld was placed on administrative leave and fired on Sept. 5 after allegedly writing an agency-wide email claiming his supervisor ordered him to investigate crimes committed by those affiliated with Trump.
