Blast Resources Discovers Significant Structural Corridor at Flagship Wales Lake Project

Blast Resources Inc. (CSE: BLST) has identified a major structural corridor at its Wales Lake uranium project in northern Saskatchewan, Canada. Cold Lake Sun reported that the zone stretches 9 kilometres across the company's claim blocks, potentially hosting concentrated uranium mineralization along multiple shears or faults.
The corridor was spotted through low magnetic susceptibility readings in regional surveys. It runs northeast to southwest, cutting across all three of the company's claim groups on the southwest edge of the Athabasca Basin — one of the world's richest uranium regions.
A structural corridor is a zone where the earth's crust has been broken and shifted over time. These breaks, called shears or faults, can trap uranium minerals. According to Fairview Post, the Wales Lake corridor may host uranium over distances of hundreds of metres inside individual or multiple fault zones.
The corridor was found using magnetic survey data. Low magnetic susceptibility — meaning rock that barely responds to magnetic fields — flags where these structural breaks likely sit. This is a standard early-stage exploration tool used across Canada's uranium belt.
The Athabasca Basin in northern Saskatchewan is home to some of the highest-grade uranium deposits on Earth. Blast Resources holds three claim groups on the basin's southwest side. The Wales Lake project is the company's flagship asset, meaning it is the main focus of exploration spending and attention.
The basin has produced mines like Cigar Lake and McArthur River, which rank among the richest uranium sources globally. Junior explorers like Blast Resources use regional surveys to find similar structural targets before committing to expensive drilling programs.
The findings were reviewed and approved by Locke Goldsmith, M.Sc., PEng., P.Geo., of Arctex Engineering Services. Goldsmith qualifies as a Qualified Person under National Instrument 43-101, Canada's strict standard for disclosing mineral exploration results. That sign-off adds credibility to the corridor interpretation.
Identifying a structural corridor is an early but important step. It tells the exploration team where to look next. Blast Resources said the finding gives the company a "heightened understanding" of the project and a clearer path toward sustainable growth, according to Shoreline Beacon.
The company has not yet announced drilling plans or a timeline for follow-up work. The next logical steps would typically include more detailed ground surveys, soil sampling, or direct drilling along the highest-priority parts of the 9 km zone.
