The makers of the upcoming fantasy family entertainer Nayyi Navelli have released “Bhabhi Tabaahi,” the film’s first song and the first full introduction to Yami Gautam Dhar as Mohini, the mysterious new daughter-in-law. Set during a wedding’s Muh Dikhayi ceremony, the number turns the film’s teasing suggestion that Mohini may be a daayan into a lively celebration, blending Bhangra, rap, classical music and hip-hop. G. V. Prakash Kumar composed and produced the track, with lyrics by Vayu and vocals by Neeti Mohan; choreographer Vijay Ganguly shaped the performance around Mohini’s changing expressions and playful dynamic with her devar. Nayyi Navelli is scheduled for a theatrical release in India on October 16.
