The other variants see smaller but still meaningful cuts. The 1.0X drops by RM1,500, the 1.0SE by RM1,000, and the 1.0AV by RM500 DSF.my. The base entry variant, the 1.0L E, stays unchanged at RM22,000 on-the-road without insurance.
Efficiency Gains Drive the Cuts, Not Spec Reductions
Perodua's president and CEO Datuk Sri Zainal Abidin Ahmad said the reductions reflect years of work behind the scenes. He credited collaboration with suppliers and dealers as the key driver of these savings. No features were removed to hit the lower prices.
The revised pricing also covers the QV-E variant and the Battery as a Service offering DSF.my. Perodua called this a 2026 Axia pricing revision, announced on August 3. The company said the goal is to ease cost pressures for everyday Malaysians.
