Land Rover Unveils All-Electric Range Rover Sport Starting at £109,810

The Sport Electric can accept DC fast charging at up to 350 kW and AC charging at up to 22 kW, according to InsideEVs.
Land Rover says the vehicle can climb inclines of up to 45 degrees. It also gets features including Dynamic Air Suspension, electronic Active Roll Control and a specially tuned traction-management system.
The Sport Electric will be offered in Dynamic SE, Autobiography and First Edition trims, priced at £109,810, £122,780 and £126,290 respectively. The electric models will join, rather than replace, the Sport’s plug-in hybrid, petrol and diesel versions.
The electric Sport shares the MLA-Flex platform and production lines with petrol, diesel and plug-in-hybrid versions. Land Rover says its body structure is 61% stiffer than that of the Sport PHEV and its centre of gravity is 73 mm lower.
Land Rover has unveiled the all-electric Range Rover Sport, starting at £109,810 in the UK. Robb Report reports the battery-powered SUV delivers more torque than any other version of the Sport, making 542 bhp and 850 Nm from its dual-motor setup. The vehicle can accelerate from 0–60 mph in 4.3 seconds and travel up to 378 miles on a single charge, with first customer deliveries expected in 2027.
The electric Sport uses an 800-volt charging system that reaches 80% battery in roughly 22 minutes under ideal conditions. OneShift notes the SUV can tackle steep inclines up to 45 degrees and wade through 900 mm of water, maintaining the Range Rover's off-road credentials alongside its performance capabilities.
The electric Range Rover Sport matches the power delivery of its V8 combustion counterpart, Autobuzz reports. With 850 Nm of torque flowing through all four wheels, the dual-motor system delivers quicker acceleration than previous gasoline and diesel versions. The 118.5-kWh battery pack enables the claimed 374-to-378 mile WLTP range, making it viable for both urban driving and longer journeys.
InsideEVs confirms the electric Sport accepts DC fast charging at up to 350 kW, allowing 10-to-80% recharge in about 22 minutes. AC charging tops out at 22 kW for home or workplace use. Beyond charging, the vehicle features Dynamic Air Suspension, electronic Active Roll Control, and a tuned traction system for demanding terrain.
Land Rover engineered the electric Sport with a 61% stiffer body structure compared to the plug-in hybrid version and lowered its centre of gravity by 73 mm. These changes enhance handling and stability while preserving the wading depth of 900 mm—unchanged from the petrol and diesel models.
The electric Range Rover Sport launches in three trims: Dynamic SE at £109,810, Autobiography at £122,780, and First Edition at £126,290. These prices position the electric version as a premium option within the Sport lineup. Importantly, the electric model will join—not replace—the existing petrol, diesel, and plug-in hybrid versions.
The electric Sport shares production lines and the MLA-Flex platform with its combustion-powered siblings. This shared architecture allows Land Rover to build multiple powertrains efficiently on the same factory assembly line, supporting customer choice across the Range Rover Sport range.
