Justice Alito Faces Growing Pressure to Recuse from Major Climate Case

The editorial of The Washington Post has stated that Justice Alito should recuse from the upcoming climate deception case Suncor v. Boulder, despite calls for him to do so, as part of an investigation into his irregular recusal habits. This comes after Alito previously recused from this case in 2023 due to stock in companies involved in several ongoing climate deception cases linked to these cases. The letter urging an investigation of Alito's irregular recusing practices was sent to the Senate Judiciary Committee this spring.
